“We finally booked and stayed in the Lucy suite with the hot tub having used the other suites before… it was just perfect and created an unforgettable few nights for me and my girlfriend. “We booked 6 rooms at this hotel whilst attending a London wedding. They could not have been more helpful or pleasant. It was a special occasion and the staff were fabulous. We were able to have our own small area at breakfast and with two young children and people drifting in and out it was perfect. The buffet breakfast was delicious and it was possible to order cooked food. Thank you.”

Nice location with great coffee and homemade biscuits. Good little alcove for business discussions away from the office. The friendly staff and comfortable interior make it more pleasurable than a coffee shop.”

“A Real Find!
As my wife and I were booked for an exhibition at the Fashion and Textiles Museum we randomly selected an hotel nearby. What a discovery it turned out to be. From the moment that we walked into this hotel we liked the atmosphere. Very friendly and accommodating staff, excellent double room, faultless cleanliness and perfectly situated for our needs. We only had one night, but we would have loved to stay longer. We will certainly return on a future trip to London.”

“I think this has to be some of the best afternoon tea I’ve ever had as we were treated like absolute royalty by the Hotel staff and the tea and cakes really just spoke for themselves…oh and the clotted cream and scones. Yum! We were licking our fingers at the end, wishing for more!”

“Best for staying local, or best for those who like their room complete with a view of the Shard (London’s iconic pyramid skyscraper)! Located in the heart of thriving Bermondsey which is packed with independent local stores and local businesses, this hotel is in prime position to explore the ever popular Borough Market, and the array of organic cafes and artisan shops that line bustling Bermondsey Street. While not officially an eco hotel in London, the Bermondsey Square is proudly part of the local community and actively encourages its guests to “meet the street“. Add to that a view of the London skyline that you won’t forget in a hurry.”

“In the past Bermondsey Square Hotel has attracted a lot of music biz types using nearby rehearsal studios – bands such as Keane and Goldfrapp have stayed here. It also appeals to travellers who like to stay in a neighbourhood on the rise. Bermondsey Square sits at the southern end of Bermondsey Street, which is home to hip art galleries, boho restaurants and the Fashion & Textile Museum. It houses an arthouse cinema and the Friday morning Bermondsey Antiques Market – worth a peek if you’re after some silver cutlery or cut glass. The 80 rooms come with large windows and are cleverly designed with beds angled to fit in a work desk…”
