Weekend stay

My husband and I stayed at the Bermondsey Square Hotel for three nights. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was spotlessly clean and breakfasts provided everything you could possibly want. The hotel is very close to Tower Bridge (within a 5 minute walk) and buses are very close by too. The hotel was extremely quiet and the surrounding area very pleasant. The antiques market on Friday was a bonus. There is a small cinema ("Short Wave") just a few yards from the hotel, which was another bonus. We couldn't recommend the hotel highly enough.

Very friendly staff

Nice place to stay. The staff were really helpful and professional. Miss Beatriz helped us in everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.
The room was extremely pleasant, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size, with an excellent shower, plenty of towels and toiletries. Room on 6th floor had fantastic views over the Shard and London Eye.
Breakfasts were excellent. The attention in the restaurant was lovely.
Local area is stuffed full of great pubs, bars and restaurants. Easily accessible by public transport and conveniently located for Borough Market, Tower Bridge.
Highly recommended. We will be back.

Christmas get together

This was probably my 5th visit to Bermondsey Square, and I always look forward to going back.
The hotel has great design, super views over London and The Shard, and is in a really nice area.
I like the large showers, comfy beds and good wifi too.
They have changed the reception area since I went last, and done away with a formal desk. Great idea, they are not needed these days anyway, it is much better and less formal. their way

A great experience!

We booked for an overnight stay as we needed a room not too far from London City Airport.
Wonderful surprise - 5th floor room was large, beds very comfortable, great walk-in shower, very clean, nice selection of free magazines, newspapers in the lobby in the morning, and excellent staff who were very helpful. Two very nice sitting areas in the reception area and coffee/tea offered from 11am to 5pm.Continental breakfast was included in the price - great surprise - some much higher category hôtels could take a leaf out of their book. Such a variety of choice - anyone with a large appetite would have no need to resort to any of the proposed extras. The area feels very secure with lots of nice restaurants and little shops with a village-type atmosphere.

Stunning views of the Shard

I stayed for 1 night last week on a short business trip. Checked in by a very efficient receptionist who also took my R/S order after my long day. My room was on the 4th floor which was modern, spacious, clean and very comfortable. I had a stunning view of the Shard which was great to see at night and in the morning. My R/S meal of a fig and goats cheese tart followed by good old Fish and Chips ticked all the boxes. A great hotel which I would certainly recommend.
